- 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: Chop chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with Cajun seasoning.
- Cook the pasta: Boil water and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until golden brown (6–8 minutes).
- Add vegetables: Stir in garlic and bell peppers; cook for an additional 3–4 minutes until veggies are tender.
- Make the sauce: Combine heavy cream and chicken broth in the skillet; simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Combine everything: Toss cooked pasta into the skillet, mixing well to coat with sauce. Serve immediately.
