- 1 lb large shrimp (deveined)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- Salt (to taste)
- Freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients: Mince the garlic and devein the shrimp if necessary.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbly. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from the pan.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and stir continuously until slightly thickened.
- Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Adjust to taste.
- Return shrimp to the skillet, allowing them to soak in the sauce for 1-2 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
