Instructions
- Trim excess fat from the beef chuck roast and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- In the crockpot, combine beef, broccoli florets, minced garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, and beef broth. Stir gently.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until the beef is tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch with cold water until smooth; stir into the crockpot to thicken the sauce.
- Just before serving, drizzle sesame oil over the top for added flavor.
