- 1 lb ground pork or chicken
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping the vegetables.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground pork or chicken until fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, followed by shredded cabbage and carrots. Cook for about 5 minutes until the cabbage wilts.
- Pour in the soy sauce and drizzle with sesame oil. Stir to combine.
- Just before serving, stir in the chopped green onions for added freshness.
