- 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot and add a generous pinch of salt. Cook spaghetti or linguine according to package instructions until al dente (about 8-10 minutes).
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden brown (1-2 minutes).
- Drain the pasta, reserving some cooking water. Add the pasta to the skillet with garlic butter, tossing well to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper; add reserved pasta water if needed for creaminess. Stir in freshly grated Parmesan until melted.
- Top with chopped parsley before serving for added freshness.
