- 1 tsp cumin or paprika (optional)
- 1 cup low-sodium tomato sauce (or sauce of choice)
Instructions
- Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned (5–7 minutes), breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Drain excess fat if needed and stir in onions and garlic; sauté until onions are translucent (3–5 minutes).
- Add salt, pepper, and cumin or paprika; cook for an additional minute.
- Stir in tomato sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes on low heat.
- Transfer to plates and garnish with fresh herbs or cheese if desired.
