- Whole hazelnuts
- Milk chocolate
- Nutella
- Crispy wafer cookies
- Unsweetened cocoa powder
- Chopped dark chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roast hazelnuts on a baking sheet for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix Nutella with finely chopped wafer cookies and some roasted hazelnuts until thick.
- Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls (about 1 inch).
- Chill the balls on parchment paper for 30 minutes.
- Melt dark chocolate until smooth. Dip each ball in melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- Place coated truffles back on parchment paper and sprinkle with cocoa powder or crushed hazelnuts if desired.
- Let set at room temperature or chill until firm.
