- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque (about 3-4 minutes).
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; mix until the cheese melts into the sauce.
- Add cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing gently until well coated.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
