- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp black pepper (freshly cracked)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, black pepper, brown sugar, and olive oil until well combined.
- Place the London broil in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the meat. Ensure it's fully coated, seal or cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for optimal flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (400°F) or oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Remove the meat from the marinade (discard leftover marinade) and grill each side for about 6-8 minutes until reaching medium-rare doneness (135°F).
- Transfer the cooked meat to a cutting board and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips. Serve with your favorite sides.
