Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, beat the egg and mix in milk and melted butter until smooth.
- Gently combine wet and dry ingredients; avoid overmixing.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour about half a cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form (around two minutes), then flip and cook until golden brown (approximately one minute).
- Serve warm with generous drizzles of maple syrup.
