- Spaghetti or linguine
- Fresh large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Minced garlic
- Unsalted butter
- Fresh lemon juice
- Red pepper flakes
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt unsalted butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp, season with salt and red pepper flakes, and cook until pink and opaque (about 3 minutes).
- Stir in reserved pasta water and lemon juice; toss in cooked pasta until well-coated.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
