- 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
- 8 small tortillas (flour or corn)
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients by chopping lettuce and tomatoes while having the tortillas ready.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in taco seasoning and add half a cup of water. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Warm the tortillas in another pan or microwave until soft.
- Assemble tacos by spooning beef into each tortilla and topping with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and additional toppings as desired.
- Serve immediately for optimal freshness.
