- 24 Oreo cookies (for crust)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 cup whipped cream
- Additional crushed Oreos for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of an 8-inch square baking dish and bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add sour cream, fresh lemon juice, and lemon zest, mixing until well blended.
- Pour half of the filling over the cooled crust; sprinkle crumbled Oreos on top before adding the remaining filling. Smooth out evenly.
- Spread whipped cream on top and sprinkle with crushed Oreos. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least four hours or overnight.
