- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together almond flour, protein powder, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, mix the egg, honey or maple syrup, and applesauce until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture and gently fold together until just combined.
- Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and shape them into biscuits.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before enjoying.
