Instructions

  3. Knead dough on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled (approximately 1 hour).
  4. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
  5. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle; spread with softened butter, then sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Roll tightly into a log and cut into even slices (about 1 inch thick).
  7. Arrange slices in a greased baking dish; cover and let rise again until puffy (30 minutes). Preheat oven to 350°F.
