- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 black tea bags
- ½ cup fresh lemon juice (about 3–4 lemons)
- ¼ cup sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups filtered water
- 1 cup sparkling water (optional)
Instructions
- Brew the tea: Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan. Add the black tea bags and steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and let it cool slightly.
- Prepare blueberries: Mash 1 cup of fresh blueberries in a bowl until juicy.
- Mix: Stir in ½ cup of fresh lemon juice and ¼ cup of sugar or honey into the mashed blueberries.
- Combine: Pour the brewed tea over the blueberry mixture, stirring well to combine.
- Chill: Transfer to a pitcher and refrigerate for at least one hour to meld flavors.
- Serve: Pour over ice and top with sparkling water if desired. Garnish with fresh blueberries or lemon slices.
