  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Drop dough by tablespoon onto baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are firm.
  6. For the frosting, beat cream cheese until smooth; gradually add powdered sugar and heavy cream until fluffy.
  7. Once cookies are completely cool, frost generously.
