- 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
- 1 lb large fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and sauté for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, simmer for 2-3 minutes, then stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the shrimp and sauce, ensuring even coating.
- Finish with lemon juice and chopped parsley before serving.
