- 8 oz pasta of your choice (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc recommended)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, warm olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add white wine to the skillet and simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Gradually stir in heavy cream and simmer gently for another 3-5 minutes until thickened.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, coating well. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and garnished with parsley.
