- 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter in a large bowl, then mix in granulated and brown sugars until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition, then blend in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Gradually fold this mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are set but the center remains soft. Allow to cool before slicing.
