Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 1 cup fresh crab meat or imitation crab
  • ½ cup Kewpie mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • 3 nori sheets, cut into strips
  • 2 tsp sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until clear; cook according to package instructions.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cooked rice with crab meat, mayonnaise, green onions, and half the cheese until well combined.
  4. Stir in sriracha and salt to taste.
  5. Layer half the rice mixture in the baking dish; top with remaining cheese and cover with the rest of the mixture.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
