  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and stir in the granulated and brown sugars until glossy.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before whisking in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla extract.
