Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just mixed.
- Slowly add boiling water while stirring to create a smooth batter.
- Divide the batter evenly into prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
