- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a tray or baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar until smooth.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter until fluffy, then gradually add sugar until light and creamy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture while alternating with milk until fully incorporated.
- Fold in chocolate chips gently.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely before decorating with glaze or whipped cream.
