Ingredients
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine apple cider, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla; whisk until smooth.
- Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients; mix gently until just combined.
- Fill each donut mold about two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and springs back when touched.
- Let cool slightly before tossing in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
