  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine apple cider, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla; whisk until smooth.
  4. Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients; mix gently until just combined.
  5. Fill each donut mold about two-thirds full with batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and springs back when touched.
  7. Let cool slightly before tossing in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
