- 3 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- Cinnamon sugar mixture (1 cup granulated sugar + 2 tablespoons cinnamon)
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, simmer apple cider until reduced by half. Set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix eggs and melted butter; then stir in the cooled apple cider reduction.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed; avoid overmixing.
- Shape dough using a donut pan or by hand into balls and fry in hot oil until golden brown (4-5 minutes).
- Coat warm donuts in cinnamon sugar mixture immediately after frying.
