- 6 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Toss sliced apples with lemon juice in a bowl.
- In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour melted butter over the oat mixture and mix until crumbly.
- Layer apple slices in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle oat topping evenly over apples.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown. Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
