- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 cup finely chopped Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Prepare Apples: Peel and chop apples into small cubes.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: Beat egg and mix with milk. Gradually add to dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in Apples: Gently fold chopped apples into the batter.
- Heat Oil & Fry: Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C). Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
- Dust & Serve: Remove fritters from oil, drain on paper towels, and dust with powdered sugar while warm.
