- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 3 tbsp flour or cornstarch (mixed with water for slurry)
Instructions
- Peel and slice the apples into thin wedges, removing all cores.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice; toss to coat.
- In a small bowl, mix flour or cornstarch with water to create a slurry.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter until bubbly. Add the apple mixture and cook for about 10 minutes until tender.
- Stir in the slurry and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until thickened.
