- 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Mix in granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Fold in flour and baking powder gently until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown; check with a toothpick.
- Allow bars to cool before preparing frosting. Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth, then gradually add powdered sugar and milk until creamy.
- Spread frosting over cooled bars, slice into squares, and enjoy!
