- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 pounds)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts.
- Optionally sauté the onions until translucent, then mix with garlic powder.
- Place chicken in the crockpot and pour in barbecue sauce to generously coat.
- Sprinkle smoked paprika, salt, and pepper over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until tender.
- Shred the chicken in the pot using two forks; stir to combine before serving.
