- 1 cup smoky BBQ sauce
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 small red onion (thinly sliced)
- Fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook in a skillet for 6-8 minutes on each side until golden. Allow to rest before shredding.
- Mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce in a bowl.
- Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface. Spread BBQ sauce over the base.
- Top with mozzarella cheese, shredded chicken, and red onion slices.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
- Garnish with cilantro if desired, slice, and serve!
