- 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 4 soft brioche buns
- Optional toppings: coleslaw and pickles
Instructions
- Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels for better searing.
- Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and coat generously with BBQ sauce. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375°F). Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until charred and cooked through (internal temp of 165°F).
- Brush additional BBQ sauce on chicken during the last few minutes of grilling.
- Let the grilled chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Assemble sandwiches by placing sliced chicken on toasted buns and adding desired toppings.
