- 2 pounds beef tenderloin
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
- Trim excess fat from the beef tenderloin and pat dry.
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, rosemary, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the tenderloin with the marinade; cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the grill to high heat (450°F).
- Sear the tenderloin on high heat for 4-5 minutes per side for grill marks.
- Reduce heat to medium and cook until the internal temperature reaches 135°F for medium-rare (about 20 minutes).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
