Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time and then mix in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in rolled oats, chocolate chips, and M&Ms until evenly distributed.
- Scoop generous dollops of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, spacing them out.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown but centers remain soft. Allow cooling slightly before transferring to wire racks.
