  • 2 black cod fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • For garnish: 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds, 2 scallions (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by mixing soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, ginger, and garlic until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Place the black cod fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
