- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and clear your workspace.
- In a bowl, whisk together bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Marinate the salmon in half of the glaze for 15-30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high or oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook the salmon skin-side down on the grill for 6-8 minutes per side or bake on a baking sheet for 12-15 minutes.
- Brush remaining glaze over the salmon during the last few minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot with your favorite sides.
