Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup assorted fillings (pepperoni, mushrooms, spinach, etc.)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Allow the pizza dough to rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  3. Roll out the dough into circles about 8 inches wide and a quarter-inch thick.
  4. Spoon ricotta and sprinkle mozzarella on one half of each circle; add your chosen fillings.
  5. Fold the dough over and seal the edges by pressing down firmly; crimp with a fork.
  6. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
