Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 2 fresh jalapeños, finely chopped
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, sliced
- 4 brioche burger buns
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to avoid tough burgers.
- Shape the mixture into four patties about ¾ inch thick with a small indentation in the center.
- Brush the grill grates with olive oil and place the patties on the grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until they reach desired doneness.
- In the last minute of grilling, add cheddar slices on top of each patty and close the lid until melted.
- Toast brioche buns cut-side down on the grill until golden brown.
- Assemble your burgers with desired toppings and enjoy!
