  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 fresh jalapeños, finely chopped
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 4 brioche burger buns
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to avoid tough burgers.
  3. Shape the mixture into four patties about ¾ inch thick with a small indentation in the center.
  4. Brush the grill grates with olive oil and place the patties on the grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until they reach desired doneness.
  5. In the last minute of grilling, add cheddar slices on top of each patty and close the lid until melted.
  6. Toast brioche buns cut-side down on the grill until golden brown.
  7. Assemble your burgers with desired toppings and enjoy!
