- 1 cup warm water (110°F / 43°C)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Activate Yeast: In a small bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- 2. Prepare Dough Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture.
- 3. Add Cheese & Oil: Pour in the activated yeast and olive oil; mix until just combined.
- 4. Knead Dough: Transfer to a floured surface and knead for 7–10 minutes until smooth.
- 5. Let Rise: Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled.
- 6. Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Shape risen dough into a loaf or rounds on a baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
