  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by combining warm water and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt. Stir in the activated yeast mixture until it forms a dough.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Punch down the risen dough; roll it out into a rectangle. Sprinkle mozzarella on one half and fold over.
  6. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
