- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook diced chicken until golden brown (7-10 minutes).
- Stir in broccoli and uncooked rice; add chicken broth, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix in cream of chicken soup until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, top with shredded cheese, and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake covered for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
