- 8 oz pasta (penne, fusilli, or spaghetti)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant (about one minute).
- Gradually add heavy cream while stirring; heat through.
- Stir in mozzarella and cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the cheese sauce, gently folding until evenly coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
