- 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes (peeled and cubed)
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup sour cream (full-fat)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine cubed potatoes with melted butter, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly coated.
- Fold in shredded cheddar cheese, reserving some for topping.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with reserved cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
