- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
- 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and chop garlic and parsley.
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sear chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides (6-7 minutes per side). Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; stir until melted and smooth.
- Return sliced chicken to the skillet along with the cooked pasta; toss gently to coat everything in the sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
