  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and chop garlic and parsley.
  2. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sear chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides (6-7 minutes per side). Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; stir until melted and smooth.
  5. Return sliced chicken to the skillet along with the cooked pasta; toss gently to coat everything in the sauce.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
