Instructions
- Marinate the chicken in buttermilk mixed with salt and pepper for at least an hour in the fridge.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture until well-coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Fry the chicken until golden brown on each side (about 5-7 minutes per side) and ensure it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Drain on paper towels and let rest before serving.
