- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Trim excess fat from chicken breasts and pat dry.
- In a bowl, combine buttermilk, salt, and pepper; soak chicken for at least 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix flour with poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Dredge marinated chicken in seasoned flour.
- Fry chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Rest on paper towels before serving.
