- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, minced garlic, and paprika until well combined.
- Marinate the chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish for at least 30 minutes.
- In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear the marinated chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
