- 1 lb frozen crinkle-cut French fries
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) chili beans
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Hot sauce to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread frozen fries on a baking sheet in an even layer.
- Bake fries for about 25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- While fries bake, brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat; break it up as it cooks.
- Stir in chili beans, onion powder, and garlic powder; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar over the beef mixture, cover until melted (about 2 minutes).
- Layer crispy fries on a platter, pour the cheesy beef mixture on top, drizzle with hot sauce, and garnish with green onions.
