- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your stove to medium-low heat. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, melt the butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
- Stir in the chocolate chips, mixing continuously until fully melted and glossy.
- Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract and sea salt.
- Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and pour the mixture in, smoothing it out with a spatula.
- If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
- Refrigerate for 2-3 hours until firm, then cut into squares.
