Instructions

  1. Preheat your stove to medium-low heat. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, melt the butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  2. Stir in the chocolate chips, mixing continuously until fully melted and glossy.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract and sea salt.
  4. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and pour the mixture in, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  5. If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
  6. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours until firm, then cut into squares.
